At Hartford HealthCare’s Ayer Neuroscience Institute, we’ve taken the concept of a second opinion to a new level: Each week, all our specialists—neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, neurointensivists, neuro-critical care nurses, EEG Techs—meet to review each individual case. Together, they pool their knowledge and experience to give you the most advanced treatment plan possible. We are the only system in the region that operates this way. We also have the region’s only neurological intensive care unit.
