I go to appointments with my husband Richard, who is the patient, so I am posting this in his words. Dr Berard is a wonderful doctor, and his assistant Samm is great. They are both warm and friendly, put me at ease and make me feel like I am visiting with friends. He is also very open and honest and takes time to explain and answer any questions I may have On this last visit, I saw a different Sam, who was also great. I'm starting to realize that the entire staff st the center is amazing!

4 weeks post diagnosis and 3 weeks post Whipple procedure. We just had our first appointment with Dr. Berard. He was kind, compassionate and caring. He took the time to listen and answer all our questions. He made a plan for my husband, and for some reason which makes no sense to say, pancreatic cancer seems a little less scary now. We have a long road, but so far, I’m glad that Dr. Berard is the one with us on this journey! Thank you!
