I’ve been seeing Dr. Steinmetz as a metastatic cancer patient for nearly two years. His treatment recommendations have always worked out well for me. He’s very personable, caring, kind and knowledgeable. I see him every few weeks and he always takes plenty of time to go over matters relating to my cancer, and answers all my questions. Highly recommended.

I have found my interactions/appointments with Dr. Steinmetz to be both helpful and refreshing. I have never felt rushed at any appointment-and I believe we can all say that's often (sadly) a rarity. He takes the time to explain things, and one leaves his office with the impression that they were truly heard and that resolution for whatever ills are presented are actually of importance and being worked on. He has a manner that allows you to be open about any difficulties, even if they might seem embarrassing or awkward. I also appreciate the friendliness of the staff at the Willimantic office. I have always felt comfortable and pleased with any and all exchanges.
