Wonderful experience. Was a little worried at first as to where I was sent but the staff made me feel confident and assured me it wasn't anything to worry about.

If I could, I would add more stars. Dr. Alsamarai puts you at ease immediately, actively listens, and creates an environment that never feels rushed. I love that she uses a pen and paper to take notes as you are sharing versus staring at her computer! I cannot say enough about her, and am so thankful to have her as my oncologist.

Horrible Dr. She doesnt care about her patients and bases judgements off her own emotions.

Dr. Susan Alsamarai at Midstate Hospital Hartford Health Care Oncology in Meriden, CT is great! She makes you feel comfortable, she is knowledgeable, she is kind, and she gives you her time without feeling rushed. Her team is great as well! During my journey they made me feel like family. I relocated to Southern Connecticut a year ago from the Midwest where I had developed a great relationship with a physician who had been my doctor for some 20 years. I doubted that I would ever find another doctor I trusted and appreciated as much as my long time friend in Iowa. I am so pleased to be able to report that Doctor Alsamarai is everything I had hoped for in a new physician. She is a great listener who understands my condition and my concerns. Moreover, her support team at the cancer center is excellent.
