Dr. Samuel D. Maidman is a cardiologist specializing in the prevention of cardiovascular disease, management of complex cholesterol disorders, and cardiac imaging. After growing up in Connecticut, he earned his bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Chicago and his medical degree from Emory University. Dr. Maidman completed his internal medicine residency at New York University Langone Medical Center and his cardiology training at the Mount Sinai Hospital. During his fellowship, Dr. Maidman obtained additional training in the diagnosis and treatment of lipid disorders and was certified by the American Board of Clinical Lipidology.
As an author of over 25 articles in major journals and over 45 presentations at national conferences, Dr. Maidman is committed to staying up-to-date on the latest discoveries and guidelines in cardiology. He has published widely on cardiovascular disease topics, including preventive cardiology, lipoprotein disorders, valve disease, atrial fibrillation, and heart failure.
